The Dancing Flower

Racing, beating, fluttering, and dancing

My heart is speaking to me of these feelings

Laughing, squealing, and smiling with delight

My heart is expressing my beams of sunlight

What is this realization?

What is this sensation?

Let the rays of heaven shine down upon me

Let the showers of love rain down upon me

Let the notes of harmony flow down upon me

Every bit, every drop, every note

Casts an enchantment over me

Strikes this shock over me

Numb, frozen and lost in darkness

Shattered by thy crystal's reflection

Agitated and uneasy, yet I can't say why

One glance and the song begins to play 

One step and the doors begin to open

Over in the distance is the tranquil ocean
