New Light (About Me)

     My friends and family were all I ever really wanted. They kept me happy and the fact they could get along with each other made the world harmonious in my mind. Like stars, they all shined bright in the night sky I could never have asked for. All of that light shattered one day and I lost it all. Life almost flashed right before my very eyes. The flames roared, souls screamed, and tears rained down that day. The spirits in the wind protected me. They saved me.

    New flowers blossom while others wither away. I've been given a new candle of light, brighter than the one before. As time goes by, it slowly dims down. Soon, my world will become dark, surrounded by shadows and blinding sights. Like the candle it is, the light will go out. 

     Who am I now? I'm not the very same person I once was. My hopes and dreams have vanished. My light shines bright artificially, but inside it's actually dying. My harmonious world, was discintegrated along with the dragon's breath. Little bits of my courage, passion, upbeat emotions, happiness, and feelings remain broken. 

     Ask me what is inside my heart. Ask me what is inside my soul. Inside my heart and soul, are the remains of fire and ashes that still burn within me since years back. What I see is something that I cannot destroy. Something I hope to hold on to for the rest of eternity. I want new fire. Fire of hope. Fire of life. Fire of giving. Fire of everything.
